Tandem Instructor, Coach
When you were a kid, were there any early activities that might indicate you’d one day become a skydiver?
Having an early passion for aviation, it was only a matter of time before I’d jump out of the sky and never look back!
What was the circumstance that led you to the DZ for the first time to make your very first skydive?
I signed my buddy and I up for a tandem just a few days before our jump (I didn’t tell him until the day before!)
What made you want to continue skydiving after your first jump?
The more you jump, the more the experience just keeps getting better. There’s never a dull day at the drop zone, and with an office view from 13500 feet, it’s hard to beat!
What’s the best / most memorable skydive you’ve ever made?
Skydiving out of a hot air balloon with an Arizona sunrise cresting over Newman Peak.
As an instructor, what has been one of the most meaningful jumps you’ve made with a student?
I made a tandem jump with an 85 year old student. She was dedicating the jump to the memorial of the passing of her son. It’s the reason we love sharing the skydiving experience with everybody we can!
