While each day is different, including holds for weather, varying flight times, and late check-ins, this is the schedule to which we try to adhere. We recommend you set aside two and a half hours for your full experience, although it can take less time.
As an example, if you’re scheduled for 3pm:
| 2:30 | Check-in time! You’ll be greeted and checked in. Then, you’ll fill out your waiver. At the front desk, we’ll verify your waiver and collect payment for your jump. |
| 2:55 | This is the time we will call you inside for class. After everyone gathers, we’ll go over key rules, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you during your skydive. |
| 3:00 | Our training video starts. The video is 15 minutes long, ending at 3:15pm. |
| 3:15 | An instructor will come inside to go over the key video points, show you skydiving moves on the ground and tell you which load/flight you’re going on. |
Each class has multiple flights, or loads, going up. Your load number is determined while you’re watching the training video. If you’re in the first load, you’ll use the restroom and get geared up right after training, with the plane going up at 3:30pm. Subsequent flights go up every 20-25 minutes, starting their own gear-up right when the previous load takes off. Busy classes may have as many as four loads per class.
If you’re on the first load:
| 3:30 | If you’re on the first load, you’ll go up at 3:30pm. You’ll enjoy a scenic 15-minute flight to altitude, and then it’s time to jump! |
| ~3:45 | 30 or 60 seconds after you jump, the parachute opens. You’ll have a canopy flight down to the ground, which lasts between 5-7 minutes |
| ~3:51 | Touch down! |
| ~3:55 | You take off your gear and then meet up again with your instructor, who gives you your skydiving certificate and congratulations! |
If you’re on the fourth load:
| ~4:30 | If you’re on the fourth load, you’ll go up around 4:30pm. You’ll enjoy a scenic 15-minute flight to altitude, and then it’s time to jump! |
| ~4:45 | 30 or 60 seconds after you jump, the parachute opens. You’ll have a canopy flight down to the ground, which lasts between 5-7 minutes |
| ~4:51 | Touch down! |
| ~4:55 | You take off your gear and then meet up again with your instructor, who gives you your skydiving certificate and congratulations! |
The absolute shortest amount of time your whole experience can take from the time your check-in starts is one and a half hours, but we highly recommend setting aside two and half hours, because you don’t know which load you’ll be on until after training.
There may be some differences, but this is the general schedule we stick to.
