It’s entirely normal to be nervous when jumping out of a plane, especially with all the anticipation building! We often get people who are afraid of heights coming to face that fear. The best part is that those who are the most scared often have the most fun. The moment the door opens, the jump out, that moment you’re surrounded by sky: you’re flying!
But don’t listen to us – listen to the people in your exact shoes, who were also nervous to go skydiving, but had an amazing time.

“I was so scared and didn’t think I was going to be able to jump out of the plane. In the end I had so much fun and definitely will do it again!! Such a breathtaking view.” – Samantha Stone

“Actually leaving the plane was the most exciting part! I was terrified as we entered the opening, and as soon as we were out and free-falling, it was pure joy and exhilaration! The three of us all said that the moment we were free-falling we thought, “I’m doing this again!” We all absolutely loved it.” – Sarah Pappas

“I was definitely nervous going up, but once that door opened and we jumped, all the nerves disappeared. The freefall was easily the craziest part. It was such a rush, but at the same time the view was unreal. Once the parachute opened, everything suddenly became peaceful and I could actually take in how beautiful everything looked from up there.” – Andy Nguyen

“The most unforgettable moment was jumping out of the plane for the first time. It’s honestly an indescribable feeling, NOTHING compares to it! If you’re scared, trust me: it’s maybe 2–3 seconds of fear, and then the other 99% is pure joy, adrenaline, freedom, and excitement. Don’t hesitate, just DO IT!” – Vy Smith
Vy’s words are often repeated by our tandem instructors:
- Brent: “DO IT. There’s always gonna be a reason not to, so just dive on in and do it. It’s a huge game changer on the true meaning of freedom and bliss.”
- Nathan: “Just do it. You can’t say it is not for you unless you try.”
- Joel: “Just go for it. The scariest part is actually driving to the drop zone, not the jump. Once you’re in the plane, the adrenaline takes over and it’s pure excitement. You’ll walk away with the biggest smile on your face, guaranteed.”
The skies are waiting for you, and we’re all excited for you to come jump with us! So, what are you waiting for?
